so all the soldiers stopped fighting and said,
"What are we here for?"

Bottlenose dolphins are actually small whales, and belong to a group called "toothed whales". They are air breathing mammals so they still must come to the surface to breathe through the blowhole on top of their heads. Their shape and colour is depending on where they are found. Dolphins have a dark grey back and a light grey belly. It helps them camouflage when predators (such as killer whales or sharks) look up from the deep, the light grey belly blends in with bright surface waters. When seen from above, the grey back blends in with the deep dark waters below.
Where do they live?
Bottlenose Dolphins are commonly found in temperate and tropical seas all over the world. Bottlenose dolphins can be found in all of Western Australia's marine parks. Bottlenose dolphins eat about 15 kilograms of food per day. They eat a wide variety of fish, squid and octopuses.
Their Threats:
Bottlenose Dolphin's natural threats are killer whales and sharks such as tiger sharks and dusky sharks. Other risks include entanglement in fishing nets (trawling, drift and gill nets).
Bottlenose dolphins are very social animals that live together in a group called pods. Inshore pods may have around 12 dolphins and offshore pods may have the about in the hundreds.

Dressing up for dinner
Each person rolls the dice. If a six is thrown, the player gets up, runs to the centre, puts on the hat and then, picks up the knife and fork and begins to eat the chocolate. One square is cut off at a time, and that must be just with fingers before the next piece is cut off.
While this player is eating, the rest of the team takes it turns to throw the dice. When another six is thrown, that guests runs to the centre, takes the hat and coat from the previous person, gets dressed and begins to cut the chocolate. (If many six are thrown one after the other, there is a big rush as people begin to put on the coat only to have another person race out and take it after them.)

My Holiday
At 3:30 we hopped in our car and drove to Nicky's house to pick her up. When I knocked on their old door Nicky came running to it and when she opened the door she screamed in my face so loud because she was so excited! I told her to calm down so she did. She was wearing a pretty, big purple water proof jacket.
She said bye to her parents and we hopped inside the car and drove off. We were so excited. The horse riding place was in Holder. It only took 10 minutes to get there. While we were in the car Nicky and I started planning on what we should do at our sleep-over. She was coming to my house for a night.
Once we got there mum went to the front office and signed some sheets and payed the money. It cost a lot of money. We had to wait for 15 minutes for our turn on the trail ride. While we where waiting I gave everyone a lolly pop. The flavours we had where coca cola, strawberry and strawberry and cream. I had strawberry and cream. It lasted for the longest.
Then our leader came to pick us up. Her name was Sarah. We went to the front office to get our helmets. Once we put them on my little sister started to cry because she didn't get a helmet to wear. She got an ice-cream instead. We followed Sarah to the horses. I got to choose which horse I wanted to ride first. I chose Caspan. He is white and is the second biggest horse out of the 3 horses including Sarah's horse. My brother chose Caspa and Nicky chose Guinie. All of the horses we rode was a boy. Sarah's horse was a girl.
All of the horses wanted to eat grass but we pulled their reigns so they won't eat grass. Then we kicked their tummy and they started walking. When we were on a flat surface in the field we started trotting but my brother's horse and my horse started galloping!! It was so scary. I had to pull the reigns as hard as I could. It was hard because the helmet started slipping over my eyes and I couldn't see!!
Suddenly Caspan calmed down. I didn't want to trot again but after another trot he stopped galloping. I was very happy. We started trotting back to the barn. On the way I saw my little sister still with her ice-block. It was dripping all over her hand. I waved hello and started to walk Caspan to the barn. We all carefully lifted one leg over the back and jumped off. I couldn't really my bum!!
We followed Sarah to the front office to take off our helmets. We said thank you and hopped in the car and drove off to our house. In the car we sang a song for Mel. We sang 5 different songs. She fell asleep in the middle of the last song.
When we arrived home it was about 6:00pm. We went inside and decided to watch "The Simpsons". It was about a man that escaped from prison and he was Lisa and Bart's worst enemy. They had to try and stop him. It was very funny.
Then my dad came home. We washed our hands thoroughly with soap and then sat at the table for dinner. For dinner we had spaghetti cabonarra. It was delicious.
At 7:00 we all played Club Penguin on the computer. It is a game where you waddle around and meet new friends. It is really fun. We played that for 30 minutes each. While we were playing club penguin my mum gave us a bowl of cookies and cream ice-cream!! It was so nice.
At 8:30 we brushed our teeth and washed our face and hands. Then got into our p.js. I said good night to my mum and dad and went to bed.
I had a really good time horse riding in the holidays. I hope I can do it again.

Last Words of a Bluebird-
As I went out a Crow
In a low voice said,
"Oh,I was looking for you.
How do you do?
I just came to tell you
To tell Lesley (will you?)
That her little Bluebird
Wanted me to bring word
That the north wind last night
That made the stars bright
And made ice on the trough
Almost made him cough
His tail feathers off.
He just had to fly!
But he sent her Good-by,
And said to be good,
And wear her red hood,
And look for the skunk tracks
In the snow with an ax-
And do everything!
And perhaps in the spring
He would come back and sing."

My telescope
Then she realized that she hadn't got her birthday present yet. So she asked her parents if she could have her present and they gave her $5,000!! She made the biggest smile ever. She was so happy. She said thank you to her parents and thought about what she should get.
After a few minutes she new what she was going to buy. She went to the man who was selling the telescope and asked if she could buy it. The man first counted all of the money and said you have enough money to buy the telescope. So she took the telescope from the man and ran into her room. She put the telescope next to her bed and lay down for a little rest.
Then she realized her feet were touching something at the end of the bed. She sat up and picked it up. It was a present from her Auntie and Uncle. She read the card. It said:
Dear Butterfly,
We are very proud of you. We hope you have a lovely time today for your 4th birthday. Enjoy the birthday present and take good care of it.
Love Auntie and Uncle
She opened the present and inside it was a ring with a little dolphin holding a round, beautiful small opal. She put it on her second finger and it fit perfectly. She showed it to her mum and dad and they said it was a beautiful dolphin.
She said it was the best birthday ever!!!

The Disco
When we arrived home we got dressed into really pretty clothes. Then Dragonfly's mum put some beautiful makeup on us. We were all wearing pretty black and grey earrings, a black dress and some boots. We looked so pretty. While we were waiting for the disco to start we watched High School Musical 3 Senior Year. It was really good. We were dancing to the music and we were singing to the songs we knew.
At last it was time to go to the disco so we turned the TV of and walked to school for the disco. When we arrived there we tried looking for our friends. When we found them we said hello and were talking in a very exiting voice. We all started dancing to the music. We had a really good time. We did the limbo and I won a chocolate and a Cd. Puppy got a cup with kittens and a chocolate. Dragonfly got a chocolate and a packet of butterfly stickers. The Cd was a High School Musical Cd. Then I asked if DJ Cliff could put my Veronica's Cd on. He did and Dragonfly, Puppy and I learned really cool dance moves to the Veronica's song at dance classes so we did the dance to the song.
Then we decided to buy something from the canteen. Dragonfly's mum gave us $10.00 each so we got a killer python, some strings, mixed lollies and a cola drink. We had a rest and ate our treats. It was 8:15 already!! We decided to get a sausage sizzle each. We ate that and started dancing again.
When the music stopped we did a dancing competition. Puppy, Dragonfly and I signed up. We were up first. We danced to "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga. We came 1st place! It was 8:40 and we were starting to get tired. It was only 20 minutes until it was time to go. We decided to sit down and have a break. We have had a really fun time so far.
Then our parents came to pick us up. I said goodbye to all of my friends and I said thank you to Dragonfly's mum for having me. She said it was a pleasure having me.
I walked to our car and hopped in. Then mum took me to Nicky's house for a sleep-over.

Slime-Make lime slime
Cornflour
food coloring
a small mixing bowl
water
Word Bank: Cornflour, bowl, food colouring, water, slimey, slime, lime, fluid, high viscosity, low viscosity, spoon, mix, green, hard, editable, honey, squishy, stale.
The Procedure: Pour a little bit of cornflour into the mixing bowl. Stir the cornflour while pouring little amounts of water until the cornflour is thick. To make the slime any color you want, stir about 5 drops of food coloring into the mixture. Stir the slime REALLY slowly. Then stir the slime as fast as you can. It shouldn't be hard to stir the slime really slowley and then really fast. Now try punching the slime. When you're aiming for the plate of slime try to punch the slime fast and hard. It should feel like you are punching a solid object. You can also eat you slime. It is editable!!
My Prediction is that all of the ingredients that we mix together will turn out to be lime slime! I thought that the slime will be like the "Galaxy Slime" and not stick to your hand so much but instead it wasn't shiney and it made your hand all smooth and slimey.

The Golden Wishing Ring
"We must think very carefully how we shall use our wish."
"Why don't we wish for the land next door so that our farm can be twice as big?" said his wife. "Well that would be all right," said the farmer,"but I'd rather try really hard and see if we can save the money for the land, and in that way we will still have our wish."
And that's what happened. They worked so hard that they were able to get the land next door."Let's wish for a horse and a cow," said the wife.
"No, we don't need to waste our wish," said the farmer. "If we work hard it will not take long to buy the land. Sure enough, they were able to by a beautiful horse and cow.
Camp at Yirrigai-day 1
When we got there we hopped off the bus and got our bags. Right in front of us were 2 members of Yirrigai. Their names were Sue and Ken. Then they took them to the front of the cabins. We put our bags down and went off to the hall and ate some Yirrigai biscuits. They were really yummy. Ken told us that the hall was our meeting room and when you hear a fire alarm it means "go to the meeting room". Then we got a gold addition Yirrigai drink bottle. So we went to fill them up. When we filled our bottles up we sat down and had a rest. Then Ken told us our table groups. I was in table group 6. In my group was Celina, Tilly, Tim, Anne, Drew and me.
Then we went back to the cabins and Mr McToud called out the cabin groups. We waited quite a while to hear what cabin group we were in. Finally he called cabin group 2 with Lietta, Emma, Charlie, Alira(ME), Tara, Melli and Livy. We were all in the same group. We were so excited that we almost screamed!! So we carried our bags around the people and into our beautiful cabins. We only got 30 minutes to make our beds and put our bags on the shelf.
This is a picture of the cool cabins.

After the 30 minutes had gone we got ready for a walk around Yirrigai. Miss Malenzie went to everyone's cabin to remind us about the walk and that the fire alarm will go off soon. When it did go off we all went to the meeting area. Then Ken said that it was lunch time so we walked slowly to the dining room where table group 1 had set the tables for us. We sat down and waited for our table group number to be called. Then Miss Malenzie called table group 6 (my group) to come out and get our lunch. For lunch we had 2 sausage rolls each, some salad and for a drink we had apple juice. I thought I wouldn't be able to eat 2 sausage rolls and some salad because my tummy was full but to my amazement I did eat it!
After that we went to our cabins to get ready for activities. I was in group 2. Luckily I was with one of my 2 best friends Livy and Charlie! When we got to the meeting area there were 2 cones. Ken was holding a piece of paper. After a few minutes he read out the 2 groups on the piece of paper. I was happy I was with my friends. Our leader was Sue.
The first activity we did was photo orienteering. We all were split into groups. Every group got a sheet with photos with all different kinds of things. Once you have found one of the pictures there is a clicker. You put a sheet of paper in the middle and push the clicker down on the paper. Once you have found every photo you go to the teachers and get another sheet.
After that activity we had dinner. For dinner we had roast. It was really nice but I felt really sick with a tummy bug. I couldn't finish it at all. So I just sat there eating little bits by bit.
Once dinner had finished we went to our cabins and showered our selves. Once I was in every one kept telling me to hurry up because they thought that they only had 10 minutes but we had 40! They rushed me so much that I didn't get to rinse my hair properly and I had shampoo and conditioner in my eyes and they were stinging!!
Once everybody finished showering themselves we put our pj's on. Then the teachers came into our cabin to tell us to bring pillows and come outside. Then I saw Mrs Clawless carrying a "Camp Rock" DVD! We followed the teacher to the theater room and sat down on the blocks. We made our selves comfortable and Mrs Clawless started the DVD. These are some of the characters in the movie. There is Demi Lovato-Mitchie Torres, Nick Jonas-Nate, Joe Jonas-Shane Gray, Kevin Jonas-Jason, Meaghan Jette Martin-Tess Tyler, Maria Canals-Barrera-Connie Torres, Alyson Stoner-Caitlyn Geller and lots more.
In the middle of the movie some boys jumped up and started dancing to the music. It was kind of annoying but we all ignored it. Also my eyes started watering because of the shampoo and conditioner in my eyes. At the end of the movie Emma and Livy started singing to the music but softly. Then we lined up and went to our cabins.
When we got inside we brushed our hair and said good night to each other. Then we turned out the lights and went to sleep.

Ali Baba
Then the men galloped away. As soon as they were gone, Ali Baba climbed down and stared at the rock for a long time.
Then he cried, "Open Sesame!"
The door opened. Ali Baba went inside and couldn't believe his eyes. There was treasure everywhere.
Gold and silver lay in heaps on the floor and jars were filled to the brim with gleaming jewels. Costly silks were thrown everywhere. Rare carpets were heaped in the treasure. Money bags lay in piles.
When Ali Baba saw this, he was sure the 40 men had been robbers, and that this was their treasure.
"Thank god they didn't see me," he thought.
